Coaching Services
Communication plays a key role at JoinTheJim coaching. In addition to weekly phone calls, your plan includes email support and on-site field testing! You will receive, log, and track your workouts via a free account at WorkOutLog.com. Among other features, this website is capable of uploading Garmin, Polar, and Powertap data – a great opportunity for us to see what and how your workouts are developing. We will do field testing to make sure you are on the right track. As a client, you also have the opportunity to join my personal classes for free or at discounted rate.
Coaching Philosophy
It takes time to train at the level that you intend to be competitive, and to race at a level which will unleash your athletic potential! It is my goal to help my clients reach their true potential through practical growth in endurance, strength, speed, and technique.
I believe that athletes of all ages have huge, untapped potential. To achieve growth in fitness, whether it be in endurance, speed or strength, there are times at which you will need to push beyond your comfort zone, during both training and racing. Giving your body the time that it needs to recover well is just as important! With a well thought out plan, purposeful workouts, and good recovery your body will be prepared to handle increased training loads over the course of a season or multiple seasons, while avoiding injury!
